- 11/4 c granulated sugar
- 3eggs
- 1/3cup + 1 tb butter softened
- 11/2 c mashed ripe bananas
- 1/3cup buttermilk
- 1/4cup unsweetened cocoa

Lightly grease two 9-inch cake pans or one 13-by-9-by-2-inch baking pan with shortening

Then flour and set aside

Sift flour with baking powder

In mixer bowl, beat sugar with eggs and butter on medium speed 5 minutes, scraping bowl down several times
