- 1/3cup lard
- 13/4 c sifted cake flour
- 3/4tsp baking powder
- 1tsp salt
- 1cup plus 2 tblspns buttermilk
- 2sqares unsweetened

Gradually beat in 1/2 cup sugar

Continue beating till very stiff and glossy

In another bowl, stir lard to soften
