- 3/4cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2tsp baking powder
- 1/4tsp anise seeds
- 1/8tsp salt
- 3tbsp unsalted butter
- 2tbsp solid vegetable shortening

Grease an 8 inch round layer cake pan

Stir the sour cream and baking soda together
