- 1c brown sugar, light
- 1ts soda
- 1ts cinnamon
- 2c flour
- 1/2ts cloves
- 1/2ts nutmeg

Add flour and applesauce in which soda has been dissolved

Pour into an oblong, wellgreased pan and bake at 350 F about 35 minutes.
