1/8tsp cloves
3large eggs, separated
1/2cup applesauce
4tbsp melted butter

Directions

Add slightly beaten egg yolks to applesauce, (mash applesauce if it is homemade and too chunky) and add to dry ingredients

Add melted butter, and fold in stiffly beaten egg whites

Bake in a moderately hot waffle iron
