- 8ozcanned bamboo shoots
- 1/2lbzucchini
- 1lg red or green bell pepper
- 2tb oil, preferably peanut
- 2tb chicken stock
- 2tb rice wine or dry sherry
- 11/2 ts chili bean sauce (or more)

Cut the fresh chiles in half, carefully remove the seeds and shred the chiles
