- 1cup sugar
- 2eggs
- 1tbsp baking soda
- 2tbsp sour milk
- 2cup flour
- 1tsp salt
- 1tsp vanilla

1/2 c Shortening 1 c Sugar 2 Eggs 1 tb Baking soda 2 tb Sour milk 2 c Flour 1 ts Salt 1 ts Vanilla 2 c Finely chopped apples 1/2 c Nutmeats

Dissolve baking soda in sour milk

of vinegar plus 2 tsp

milk can be substituted in place of the sour milk)

Add sour milk and baking soda mixture to the creamed mixture

Then add remaining ingredients and mix together

Put in a large greased loaf pan and top with the following topping

Mix together: 2 tbsp
