Hot and Spicy Spareribs
1 Rack pork spareribs -- 3-pound 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine 1 Medium onion -- finely chopped 2 Cloves garlic -- minced 1 15 Ounce Can tomato sauce 2/3 Cup cider vinegar

- 115 ounce can tomato sauce
- 2/3Cupcider vinegar
- 2/3Cupfirmly packed brown sugar
- 2Tablespoons chili powder

add onion and garlic, and saute until tender

Add remaining ingredients, except ribs, and bring to a boil

Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally

Place ribs on grill, meatiest side down, about 6 inches above low coals, or over indirect heat (banked coals)
