- 1/2tsp salt
- 1/4tsp pepper
- 2tsp butter
- 2lbround steak
- 1can tomatoes (8 oz)
- 1/2cup onion, minced
- 1/4cup green pepper, minced

Sprinkle half the mixture on one side of the round steak and pound on

Repeat for other side, cut meat into pieces

Melt butter in skillet and brown meat

Cover tightly and simmer 1 hour

Add water if necessary

Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat

Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until tender.
