- 3t olive oil
- 1large onion -- finely diced
- 1small carrot -- finely diced
- 1stalk celery -- finely diced
- 9c broth
- 1/4c fresh lemon juice
- 3t chopped fresh dill

Place the garbanzo beans in a bowl, cover with 3 inches of water and soak for at least 8 hours or up to 10
