- 11/2 c flour, all-purpose; or more
- 1/2ts salt
- 1/2ts baking powder
- 1/2c sugar
- 1/2ts ground ginger
- 1c nut pieces

then mix in the flour, salt and baking powder

Mix in enough flour to make a soft but not sticky dough, that can be handled

Knead on floured surface until smooth

Roll it out to form a rope, about 1/2" thick

Then cut with a sharpe knife 1/2" pieces

These can be baked in the oven on a greased baking sheet at 350 until dough just starts to puff and get a slight brown
