- 1c sugar
- 2eggs; beaten
- 1/2ts salt
- 11/2 c flour
- 1ts cinnamon
- 1/4ts cloves
- 1ts baking soda
Directions

1/2 c Shortening 1 c Sugar 2 Eggs

beaten 1/2 ts Salt 1 1/2 c Flour 1 ts Cinnamon 1/4 ts Cloves 1 ts Baking soda 3 c Apples

peeled, chopped 1/2 c Nuts ***topping*** 3 tb Butter

melted 3 tb Flour 1 c Brown sugar shortening and sugar

Add eggs, salt, flour, spices and soda

Fold in apples and nuts

Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan and bake for 25 minutes
