- 1c butter or shortening
- 1egg
- 2c flour
- 1/2ts salt
- 1ts baking powder
- 1ts vanilla
- 1ts butter flavoring
Directions

1 c Sugar 1 c Butter or shortening 1 Egg 2 c Flour 1/2 ts Salt 1 ts Baking powder 1 ts Vanilla 1 ts Butter flavoring Blend butter and sugar

Add egg and beat well

Add dry ingredients and blend well

Roll into 1" rolls and place in waxed paper, chill in refrigerator until firm

Slice into 1/2" slices

Sprinkle top with sugar and a dash of nutmeg

Bake at 350~F for 10-12 min
