Beat in oil and powdered sugar until smooth

Add eggs and vanilla and beat well

Mix flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt toget her and stir into mix

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet

Flatte n cookies to 1/4-inch thick with glass bottom dipped in sugar
