- 21/2 ts baking powder
- 1/2ts salt
- 2/3c vegetable shortening
- 11/2 c sugar
- 2eggs
- 1ts vanilla
- 4ts milk

Mix shortening, eggs, sugar, and vanilla until creamy

Stir in flour alternately with milk

Refrigerate 2 hours or until easy to handle

Roll 1/8" thick on floured board and cut as desired

Place on ungreased cookie sheets (insulated cookie sheets work best so they don't brown too much on the edges)

Bake at 375 for 9 to 11 minutes
