- 2(1/4 ounce) packages active dry yeast
- 1/3cupwarm water (about 110 degrees f)
- 6tablespoonmargarine (or butter or low-fat spread),
- 2cupgranulated sugar, divided
- 3/4cupmilk
- 1teaspoonsalt
- 3eggs, at room temperature and lightly beaten
- 1tablespoonvegetable oil, plus oil for mixing bowl
