Ingredients

- 2cupwater
- 1medium onion, chopped
- 1tablespoonolive oil
- 2clovegarlic, minced
- 1/2cuprice (basmati is very good)
- 2medium tomatoes, coarsely chopped
- 2cupchicken broth

I often substitute 1/2 can diced canned tomatoes for the fresh tomatoes
