- 3tablespoongranulated sugar
- 1/4teaspoonhon-dashi (dashi granules)
- 1scallion (with top), thinly sliced
- 1teaspoongrated ginger root
- 1tablespoonwasabi powder

Cover and refrigerate until chilled

Heat water, soy sauce, sugar and hon-dashi to boiling
