- 2tablespoonbutter or margarine
- 6slices white bread, toasted
- 1/2cupraisins or chopped figs
- 1/2cuppiñon nuts or chopped almonds
- 2apples, peeled, cored and sliced

Bring to boiling

Stir in the butter or margarine
