Mulled Madeira

Ingredients

• 4 cup white grape juice + splash caramel syrupswapped
• 6 tbsp honey
• 2 tbsp lemon juice
• 8 strips oranges peel
• 6 whole cloves
• 1/2 cinnamon stick
• 1/4 cup orange syrup or orange juice concentrate splashswapped

Directions

   Combine madeira, honey, juice, peel, cloves and cinnamon in a large saucepan and bring almost to simmer over medium heat

   Reduce heat and cook for 10 minutes (do not simmer)

   Add cointreau and stir until hot

   Serve warm in heat proof glasses or mugs, leaving peel and spices in pan.
