Sazerac Cocktail

Ingredients

• 1 tsp sugar
• 3/4 apple cider + splash vanillaswapped
• 1/2 dash anise (licorice) syrupswapped
• 2 dash non-alcoholic bitters or omitswapped
• 2 dash non-alcoholic aromatic bitters or omitswapped
• 1 twist lemon peel

Directions

1. 1

   Chill an old-fashioned glass by filling with crushed ice

   In another glass mix the sugar with the bitters dissolving the sugar

3. 3

   Add some ice, stirring to chill

4. 4

   In the old-fashioned glass remove the ice and pour in the absinthe coating the entire glass

5. 5

   Remove the excess absinthe

6. 6

   Add the rye whiskey and bitters/sugar mixture

7. 7

   Add the lemon twist.
